Grill Lovers’ Winter Sauerkraut Bread Recipe (Ready in about 3 hours | Servings 10)

Ingredients

  • • 1 cup sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • • 3/4 cup water, warm
  • • 1 tablespoon dark molasses
  • • 2 tablespoons butter
  • • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • • 1 teaspoon caraway seed
  • • 1 teaspoons salt
  • • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • • 1 cup rye flour
  • • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Place all the above ingredients in the pan of the bread machine.
  2. Then, select basic bread cycle; press “Start”.
  3. Transfer to a cooling rack in order to cool completely. Serve with butter, jam or honey. Enjoy!
