Grill Lovers’ Flaxseed Bread with Greek Yogurt Recipe (Ready in about 55 minutes | Servings 10)

Ingredients

  • • 3 tablespoons flaxseed meal
  • • 1 1/3 cups whole-wheat flour
  • • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • • 3 tablespoons water
  • • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • • 2 tablespoons honey
  • • 2 large-sized egg whites

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F. Oil a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large-sized mixing bowl, sift together the flaxseed meal, whole-wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, sea salt, and cinnamon. Drizzle with lemon juice and stir to combine; reserve.
  3. In another mixing bowl, combine the water, Greek yogurt, olive oil, honey, and egg whites. Mix until everything is well blended.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
  5. Place the loaf pan on the center rack of the oven; bake approximately 45 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting and serving.
